Antonella Celi has been a Councillor with the Mornington Peninsula Shire for over 14 years and has served as Mayor and Deputy Mayor. She was elected to the Mornington Peninsula Shire in 2010 for the Truemans Ward and 2012-2024 to represent the Seawinds Ward.

Antonella has graduated with a Diploma in Local Government (Elected Councillors), undertaken the Women in Local Government Leadership Masterclass and attended numerous MAV peak body Councillor training and induction sessions.

Her professionalism is reflected in her experience to Chair and participate in Council meetings, strategy and policy development, civic/community engagement, leadership and governance procedures, advocate to levels of government, as well as, public speaking, media relations and responding to constituent concerns and inquiries.

Antonella has also been appointed as Chairperson & Delegate to many Council Advisory Committees such as the Municipal Health & Wellbeing Committee; Triple A Housing Committee, Arts & Culture Advisory Committee, Audit & Risk Committee, Positive Ageing Committee and Mornington Peninsula Cemetery Trust.

Together with the community, Antonella is determined to work and advocate on issues; address challenges; focus on opportunities, seek Local, State and Federal government resources and funding to support projects and services in the Tootgarook Ward and across the Mornington Peninsula.
