I am a member of the Labor party, but not endorsed, supported or obligated to vote for them in the council. I have not run for any level of government before.

Rates, councillor cliques, lack of transparency, local businesses struggling, council infighting and lack of cooperation, high spending, vacant properties en-masse in CBD.

I have 3 years of leading local volunteer organisations, administration work, governance and compliance. I also have a large amount of experience in stakeholder engagement and advocating for change in our community, having represented Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula in the 2024 Youth Parliament. I will aim to push for new regulations in our local council that will allow our council to hold each other accountable for bullying, rather than needing to submit complaints to the Department of Local Government that can take a long time to be handled. Furthermore, I will work to tighten our own council's rules on councillor conduct, cracking down on infighting and encouraging orderly debates in the chambers. I will investigate at every chance I get, areas council can make better budget decisions to reduce the stress on residents in the cost of living.

Yes, I support the FMAC wholeheartedly. Building on our current council's investments into 'Invest Frankston' and 'Engage Frankston' to keep our city in the limelight for prospective business owners and investors will be among the top of my city-wide priorities. Additionally, I believe the Frankston Business Collective should retain ongoing funding as a council subordinate organisation to provide aid to local businesses and community organisations through training and networks, as well as allowing prospective investors to learn more about the area and future growth opportunities.

Continuing to supporting local housing investments to bring more people into Frankston will be a top priority to support local businesses and workers. Additionally, supporting the State and Federal Government's upgrades of our local Chisholm TAFE to bring more students, apprentices and skilled workers into our city. Furthermore, as I said in my previous answer, continuing to support 'Invest Frankston' and 'Engage Frankston' to secure the future growth of our city will contribute to better outcomes for the issues outlined in the question.

Local Government plays a large role in supporting the state and federal governments to grow their LGAs. By being supportive and welcoming of housing, appropriate developments and business investments, councils can bring in more residents, businesses and local jobs to grow the city's economy and population.

At this election, Frankston residents will have the opportunity to make a choice for their future over the next 4 years. Given the critical period we find ourselves in as a city, these next 4 years could easily shape the next 30 years of our city. As a leader experienced in all things local to Frankston, as well as managing budgets, organisations, committees and boards, I have an established competence in similar roles to that of a councillor. Additionally, through my ceaseless community work, I have shown my dedication to our community, and my passion for making a positive difference for people of all walks of life. However, I'm also fully committed to furthering the future of Frankston, encouraging healthy development and investments into our city. With a healthier economy and more populous city, we will be able to help more people. Social justice and fiscal sustainability are not mutually exclusive and also complement each other.

It would be my privilege to be recognised as a considerate councillor dedicated to securing a better future for our city and its residents. A councillor who cares, and who stood up to make a difference for everybody. One who improved our city and made changes for the better. This is an outcome I'm completely dedicated to achieving, and even if I'm not elected I will work with council to better our city.

The CFMP is an integral asset to aid Frankston City and the Mornington Peninsula Shire with stakeholder engagement, local consultation and essential advocacy in our community. I will work to improve the relationship between Frankston Council and the CFMP every step of the way, securing a mutually beneficial relationship into the future. I would strive to engage with the CFMP regularly in stakeholder meetings and briefings. Furthermore, I would aim to support the CFMP's advocacy efforts in whatever way possible.
