Frankston Activity Centre Plan Progress

The Committee welcomes further progress towards the finalisation of the Frankston Metropolitan Activity Centre (FMAC) Plan.

The Victorian Government has finalised height limits of 3 - 16 storeys in Frankston's Activity Centre Core, while the surrounding catchment will facilitate heights of up to 3 - 4 storeys.

This framework for Frankston's City Centre will provide certainty and confidence for housing developments, complimenting the significant amount of work already undertaken by local government in the CBD.

The Committee will continue to call for Federal and State Government investment into key activation areas within the FMAC along Nepean Highway, highlighting the Nepean Boulevard Revitalisation Project as a catalyst for further private investment in the city.
