Frankston Development Briefing

CFMP Members were this week given a briefing on development in Frankston and the new Harbour project.

Urban DC - CFMP Member - provided insights into the last ten years in Frankston, what the future of the CBD looks like, and the impressive developments that have either recently been completed (Horizon) or now underway (Harbour). 

Harbour residences have been purchased by predominately local buyers due to its prominent position, confidence in Frankston's future potential, investment underway in the CBD, the rollout of the FMAC, and the opening up of Kananook Creek to the community again.

Frankston has so much potential over the next few decades after being identified as key metropolitan activity centre by the State Government. 

Frankston City Council have now successfully implemented the Frankston Metropolitan Activity Centre Plan (FMAC) which provides a framework for development opportunities in Frankston City.

We look forward to working with local government and our members to contribute where we can to encourage continued and further support and investment into Frankston City - the capital of Melbourne's South east.
