Roundtable with Minister for Tourism, Steve Dimopoulos MP

The Committee for Frankston & Mornington Peninsula hosted a Roundtable with Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events, Steve Dimopoulos, to discuss local issues affecting the visitor economy at McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery in Langwarrin.

Representatives from tourist, hospitality and accommodation venues across the region, local government, industry and the Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism Board joined the Minister for a discussion about local issues, including: major events, government support for tourism, and short-stay accommodation issues.

The Committee will continue to work with the Tourism Board, local businesses and local government to fight for the best possible outcomes from Government for the local visitor economy.
