Social Enterprise on the Peninsula
CFMP Members joined Frankston Social Enterprise and Innovation Hub for our October Members Breakfast to highlight the important work of social enterprise on the Mornington Peninsula.
Jay Shelling from SP Worx / Street Peace outlined the critical role that social enterprise can play in our community and on our streets. This groundwork providing mentorship on the streets of Frankston has now led to a highly respected and well established landscaping business that's undertaking some big projects.
We also heard from the Federal Member for Dunkley, Jodie Belyea MP, on her involvement with social enterprise and the Hub before she was elected to Parliament.
Thank you to Matt, Xanthe and Andrew for hosting us today. The Hub and the Committee share a lot of the same goals for our part of the world and we look forward to collaborating more closely in 2025.
Thanks also to Djambana Catering for the wonderful food and our resident photographer and CFMP Member, James Pyne.
